Following on from the previous day, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting Shima City in Mie Prefecture, attended the G7 Ise-Shima Summit.

First, the G7 leaders attended Session 5, which was on the topic of climate change and energy. Next, after meeting the invited outreach country leaders and attending Session 6 on the topic of stability and prosperity in Asia, the G7 leaders participated in a commemorative photograph session with the invited outreach country leaders.

Later, the leaders attended Session 7 (working lunch), which was on the topic of development and Africa.

Lastly, Prime Minister Abe held the G7 Presidency press conference.
