Prime Minister Shinzo Abe received a courtesy call from OBON 2015 at the Prime Minister’s Office. OBON 2015 is a US-based group that is carrying out activities to return Yosegaki Hinomaru (Good Luck Flags) , or Japanese flags that were presented to soldiers during World War II by their loved ones on which messages of support and signatures were written , as well as other items left behind in war by former Japanese soldiers that Allied Force soldiers took back to their countries to the original owners or bereaved families.
