Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held a summit meeting and other events with H.E. Dr. Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, at the Prime Minister's Office.
Ahead of the summit meeting, the Prime Minister visited Nezu Museum with Chancellor Merkel.
At the Prime Minister's Office, the two leaders attended a ceremony by the guard of honor and then held a summit meeting. The leaders then held a ceremony for the exchange of memorandums, followed by a joint press conference. Afterwards, the leaders received a courtesy call from business figures from Japan and Germany.
