On January 20 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited the Palestinian Authority.
First, the Prime Minister visited the Mausoleum of Yasser Arafat and offered flowers. Following this, he attended a welcome ceremony held at the president’s office.
Afterwards, following a leader’s summit with H.E. Dr. Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Palestinian Authority, the Prime Minister attended a meeting of an economic mission with the president. Then, after making a statement at a joint press conference, he attended a luncheon hosted by President Abbas.
