On June 5 (local time), during his visit to the Kingdom of Belgium to attend the Brussels G7 Summit, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe first attended a session on the theme of “foreign policy issues,” which was followed by a photograph session with G7 and EU leaders.
Afterwards the Prime Minister held talks with H.E. Dr. Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Prime Minister then attended a session on the theme of “global economy, energy and climate change” and held a press conference in the afternoon.
