On May 2 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited the Portuguese Republic. First, the Prime Minister visited the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown, followed by a courtesy call on H.E. Prof. Aníbal António Cavaco Silva, President of the Portuguese Republic.
In the evening, Prime Minister Abe held talks with H.E. Mr. Pedro Manuel Mamede Passos Coelho, Prime Minister of the Portuguese Republic, which was followed by a joint press announcement.
On the third day of his visit (local time), Prime Minister Abe first visited the Monastery of Jerónimos, before visiting Cabo da Roca. Afterwards, Prime Minister Abe visited the Cathedral of Evora.
