Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended the plenary session of the House of Representatives.
During the session, reports were delivered on the National Security Strategy, the National Defense Program Guidelines for FY2014 and Beyond, and the Mid-Term Defense Program (FY2014-FY2018), and then the Prime Minister answered questions from each party and faction.
