On October 10 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, during his visit to Bandar Seri Begawan in Brunei Darussalam to attend summit meetings related to ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and other meetings, attended the ASEAN+3 Summit Meeting with 10 ASEAN member countries plus Japan, China, and the Republic of Korea; and the East Asia Summit. The Prime Minister then conversed with Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India.
In the afternoon, Prime Minister Abe held a press conference.
