Prime Minister Shinzo Abe received a courtesy call from Minister of Foreign Affairs of the French Republic Mr. Laurent Fabius, at the Prime Minister's Office.

The Prime Minister said in his address,

"I spoke with President Hollande over the telephone at the time of the terrorism incident in Algeria, and he facilitated many activities for Japan. I would like to again extend my gratitude for that.
Just today, in the Cabinet Meeting, we made a decision on the visit of the President to Japan as a state guest. I look forward to discussing a variety of areas with the President upon his visit to Japan."
