Prime Minister Shinzo Abe received a courtesy call from His Royal Highness Prince Khaled bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the Prime Minister's Office.

The Prime Minister said in his address,

"I believe it is important for Japan and Saudi Arabia to deepen their mutual relationship also in the area of security.
I expect that the cooperation between the two countries will become even closer with your visit to Japan this time."
