Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Fukushima Prefecture to gauge the progress of reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake.

First, the Prime Minister visited Namie Town and observed the progress of reconstruction.

Then, the Prime Minister moved to Tomioka Town, observed the progress of reconstruction, and offered words of encouragement to the police members guarding the checkpoint.

In the afternoon, the Prime Minister headed to Koriyama City and first observed a cultivating farm for nameko mushrooms.

Then, the Prime Minister observed a greenhouse farm, and, after harvesting vegetables there, observed a playing facility for children.

Lastly, the Prime Minister observed a livestock farm and sampled wagyu beef.
