Prime Minister Shinzo Abe received a courtesy call from Mr. Yoshihiro Murai, Governor of Miyagi Prefecture, at the Prime Minister's Office.

The Prime Minister said in his address,

"Shortly before, we held the Reconstruction Promotion Council. In order to speed up the reconstruction under the leadership of Minister Nemoto, we recognized the necessity to change the current situation where the strong hammering sound of reconstruction cannot yet be heard, and instructed the following three points.
One is to cast aside anxiety regarding the budget by reviewing the cap of 19 trillion yen.
Second is to take specific measures to accelerate the building of communities and help people make a living.
Third is to make the Reconstruction Agency and other ministries and agencies listen carefully to the voices of the disaster-stricken areas.
I will be visiting Miyagi Prefecture the day after tomorrow. I am looking forward to seeing you again then."
